I called the bakery about a week before my wedding with a last minute request for a gingerbread bride and groom. I completely understood it might not happen since the wedding was a week before Christmas, but Kristi was so helpful and enthusiastic about the order. The gingerbread bride and groom were perfect! I will definitely use Whisked Away for any events I have in the future.
Oh my goodness! Kristy helped me create an absolutely beautiful baby shower for my sister in law! I gave her some pictures and she exceeded my expectations. Also, she is such a kind, sweet person. I will always use Kristy for any baked goods in the future, she is brilliant!
My husband and I love to come here! They are a small local buisness with tasty treats! They are very creative with the treats that they make as well! Everyone should come check out their eclipse themed treats!
I've been coming here for many years. This is the best place is town. They've been around for about 4 or 5 years and are going strong. They're just as good as they have always been! The ice cream and cookies are great! The owner is so friendly! I love coming here.

Since I first visited..Have never felt the same. This place misplaced me in another time and place. Small variety,but perfect deliciousness. THEY HAVE 2 COOKIES AND COFFEE FOR $5 ! $5! If it was $100 per cookie,I would gladly pay that and tip handsomely. They have an indoor seating area for that in-between teleporting between taste buds. GO NOW!

This is such an adorable little bakery! They have ice cream, coffee, cookies, brownies, knitted stuffed animals, & so much more! The chai tea latte and chai ice cream were really good! The stuffed animals are so adorable and have great craftsmanship. The owner, Kristy is super sweet and hospitable. I would highly recommend visiting this shop if you're in Terrell, Tx. or passing through on a road trip 🥰
This little bakery is a hidden gem! The owner and staff are so friendly, it feels like stepping back in time. We couldn't pass up the quirky sandwich board - fried bologna and pimento cheese? Yes, please! Both were surprisingly tasty. But the real treat was the whoopie pies. Oh, those whoopie pies! Need to stop by and see the place.
West Away Bakery House never disappoints! Not only does she make some of the most beautiful cookies and desserts, but they truly taste just as amazing as they look — which is rare and so appreciated. For Thanksgiving, she offered the cutest holiday specials that our whole family loved. One was a build-your-own turkey cookie kit, where she pre-cut the cookie pieces and you put them together yourself. It was adorable, creative, and such a fun activity. She also created turkey cookies with edible paint, and these were a huge hit with the kids! They stayed busy at the Thanksgiving table painting their cookies, having fun, and then getting to eat their creations afterward. It was the perfect mix of entertainment, creativity, and sweetness. Her creativity is so fun, but what makes her stand out even more is that her treats don’t just look good — they’re absolutely delicious.
